Adult Rowing
Maritime Rowing Club has an active adult masters rowing program. We train and row late March through November (weather permitting), then move indoors for the winter. Winter is comprised of fitness and technical training including: cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility work, ergometer training and instruction, and weight training.
If you wish to compete, racing is an integral part of our masters program and we participate in many regattas throughout the season. You can also choose to row recreationally. The club has excellent boats available to members, including Empachers, Vespolis, MAASs, and Hudsons.
There are early morning, morning, and evening sessions. We row every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The club is closed on Monday mornings.
For current program times, contact us or call 203-854-5492. Click here to download the Annual Membership application.
Private lessons and boat storage are also available.
