Maritime Rowing home page

Located on the scenic Norwalk River, the Maritime Rowing Club at the Water Sport Center is dedicated to competitive and recreational rowing for people of all ages and abilities. The Maritime Rowing Club is a team-oriented club where all members work together to provide an enjoyable rowing experience for all.

In addition to our adult rowing program, Maritime offers learn-to-row classes, winter training, summer camps for juniors, kayaking and kayaking camps. The Maritime Rowing Club is home to the New Canaan High School Crew, the St.Luke's School Crew, and the Saxe Middle School Crew and the Maritime Rowing Team.

Our boathouse address is 11 Goldstein Place, Norwalk, CT 06855. We are located at the Water Sport Center, behind Liberty Square in East Norwalk, directly across the river from the Maritime Aquarium.

Summer Information is Now Available Junior Summer 2008 Registration form

MRC celebrates a gold medal in the Boys 4X , a silver medal in the Girls 8+ and sixth place in the Girls Four + at the Junior National Championships in Cincinnati- June 2007. Good luck to Maritime Rowing Club seniors this spring. They will reunite in the fall as they all continue their rowing careers in college.

Maritime Girls 8+ wins bronze medal at the 2007 Head of the Charles Maritime Rowing Club celebrates at 2008 Mercer Sprints after medaling in four events.
